According to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on July 2, from January to May 2021, among the main products of the national lighting manufacturing industry, the output of lamps and lighting devices was 2.27 billion sets (sets, pieces), a year-on-year increase of 45.1%. In the month of May, the national output of lamps and lighting installations reached 500 million sets (sets, pieces), a year-on-year increase of 38.7%.

From January to May 2021, the operating income of lighting fixture manufacturing enterprises above designated size in the country was 143.98 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 27.4%; the total profit was 7.27 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 29.0%.
